At Novakse you skate on natural ice through stunning winter landscapes. With small groups, personal guidance and comfortable accommodation, you experience the combination of adventure and good company.

How a trip works

You don't book a route. You book a week on the ice.

Natural ice can't be planned. Where we skate depends on the weather and ice quality, and we decide that on the spot. What is fixed, is how the trip itself is arranged.

4 to 12 participants

A trip runs from 4 participants and takes a maximum of 12.

Deposit at booking

Half at booking, the remainder no later than 5 weeks before departure.

Clear well in advance

Any price changes are communicated at least 4 weeks before departure.

How many skating destinations does Novakse offer?

Novakse offers five destinations: Orsa and Falun in Sweden (guided group trips), Luleå in Swedish Lapland and Punkaharju in Finland (independent trips), and the Weissensee in Austria (independent).

What is the difference between a guided and an independent trip?

On a guided group trip (Orsa, Falun) Joey comes along himself, knows the ice and decides each morning anew where the day will be at its best. On an independent trip (Luleå, Finland, Weissensee) you skate without guidance from Novakse, at your own pace.

How big are the groups on a guided trip?

A guided trip runs from 4 participants and takes a maximum of 12.

How does payment work?

You pay half at booking, the remainder no later than 5 weeks before departure. Any price changes are communicated at least 4 weeks before departure.
