The ice decides where we go
Our skating trips always depend on weather conditions and ice quality. We adjust routes and programmes daily, and switch to another suitable lake or offer an alternative programme when needed.
That also means: no two days are the same, and no one can promise in advance exactly where you'll skate.
You choose how many hours you spend on the ice
Recreational
A relaxed pace, plenty of time for breaks and to take in the surroundings.
Sporty
Steady riding with breaks, longer distances in a day.
Fanatic
Long days on the ice, for those who really want to rack up the kilometres.
What you bring yourself
- Your own skating equipment - for natural ice we recommend touring skates
- Winter clothing you can spend a whole day outside in
- Safety gear: ice picks and a helmet are mandatory
You'll receive a packing list and advice on what you need beforehand.
Good to know
- A trip runs from 4 participants and takes a maximum of 12
- Any price changes are communicated at least 4 weeks before departure
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the trip; you'll get a reply within 14 days

Half upfront, the rest five weeks before departure.
All trips require a deposit of 50% of the trip price. You pay the remainder no later than 5 weeks before departure. For Orsa and Falun you register in pairs; if you come with your own group, you choose the date yourselves.
At booking
50% of the trip price as a deposit.
5 weeks before departure
The remaining amount needs to be paid by then.
If you cancel
More than 6 weeks in advance: 50% of the trip price. After that: 100%.

How big are the groups?
A trip runs from 4 participants and takes a maximum of 12 participants. This keeps room for personal attention and guidance on the ice.
How does payment and cancellation work?
All trips require a deposit of 50% of the trip price; you pay the remainder no later than 5 weeks before departure. Cancel more than 6 weeks in advance and you pay 50% of the trip price; after that, 100% applies.
What skating equipment do I need?
You bring your own skating equipment, winter clothing and safety gear. You'll receive a packing list and advice on what you need beforehand. For natural ice we recommend touring skates; ice picks and a helmet are mandatory.
Do I need to be a good skater?
You don't need to be a competitive skater, but you do need to be able to keep going independently for a full day. Not sure about your level? Just ask - together we'll figure out which trip and pace suit you.
